Trains wont replace when I give the order
Good day everyone. The problem I have is that I have 21 FOS40 that are 24 years old. When I give the order to "replace vehicle NOW" after selecting the old FOS40 in the left window and selecting the FOS40 in the right window they will not replace. They keep driving, breaking down and go for servicing but NEVER be replaced. Am I missing something?

Any help is very welcome because the amount of trains is only growing and at some time I will need two hours to replace all the vehicles.

What you need to do is go to: Settings; Company.
Make sure: Autorenew Vehicle When It Gets Old, is turned on.
Set the other settings to your desire, and when they go for servicing, they will automatically be replaced.

@Raptor - One question I have is how the automatic replacement works as far as train choice goes. Does it autoreplace with the exact same train setup or can we designate a newer type for it to upgrade to? Or is it better to just manually replace older vehicles to ensure we get newer faster models?

Autorenew will replace the existing engine with the same type, but it will just be 0 years old.
If that engine type is no longer available, you will get a notification letting you know the autorenew failed.
To replace a large amount of vehicles with a newer type, you can do a mass replacement, or by groups.
Along the top tool bar, there are 4 buttons for vehicle listings.
In the vehicle listings it will show all vehicles as well as any groups you have.
There is a button: Manage Listings. click on that and select: Replace Vehicles.
On the left side it will show you all vehicle types you are using, or have used in the past. Select the vehicles you wish to replace, and on the right side select the vehicle you wish to replace them with. Then press: Start Replacing Vehicles. Next time that vehicle goes to a depot, it will auto replace that vehicle with the newer type.
The only problem you will face is if you are trying to replace a non-electric train with an electric train in a non-electric depot.

EDIT: I hope this description is clear enough.

@Raptor - Your description was crystal clear. I easily found the Manage Listings button and can see how to do mass replacements by designating which engine to replace an old one with. Much easier than doing them all manually. Thanks!
