FIRS 2 MOD: HOW TO TRANSPORT IRON ORE AND SCRAP METAL? TRANSPORT MESS

Hi guys! I have downloaded the FIRS 2 mod but I can't transport pretty much any of the new stuff and all the names of the trucks and trains are different from what they can carry (like grain truck that transport carbon). What should I download in order to have proper transports?

You need some vehicle sets which support the new cargo types. Iron Horse, Road Hog and FISH are made by the same author as FIRS and therefore support all of the cargoes.

(As do many other vehicle sets to a greater or lesser degree - my own Timberwolf's Trains and Timberwolf's UK Road Vehicles 3 support all FIRS cargo types with dedicated custom graphics for each cargo)

I assume that isn't savegame compatible right? I haven't seen any change in current game, but only when I start a new one. They look great toh!

Yes, without using the developer options (which can break your game if you add or remove the wrong thing) the newgrf settings only take effect when you create a new game.

Also, you may want to get the latest version of the mod, FIRS 4.
