How Does The AI Work?

From what i understand, you need to download an AI if you want another company to start on your map if you allow 1 or more competitors? is this correct?

If you start OpenTTD, and go to "Check Online Content", you get a long long list of all kind of addons you can install.

One category is AIs. You can install one or more AIs to play against.

After installing you do have to go to the "AI/Game Script Settings", and set "Maximum no. competitors" to anything above 0.

Start a new game (don't load an existing, that will not work), and enjoy some friendly competition.

For which AIs to install? I honestly don't know .. there are some good ones in the list, some fun ones, bus-only, train-only, .. many to pick from.

Thanks man. i wondered why the AI wasn't loading on a pre-existing map. Cheers.
