Confused with Yate Cargo Ship

I'm now playing Orkney scenario made by Owen. I bought Yate Cargo Ship to supply factory (grain). I can't make she takes goods from the factory on her way back for better efficiency?

Managed myself :) Go to depot, refit and come back on route

Note that some vehicles can be automatically refit at stations with an appropriate order.

make a depot next to the harbour and order your ship to go in there to refit for goods. This makes your ships earn more money because they don't go back empty
