A few Observations
I recently picked up the game. I had played the demo before and liked it. It's different, of course, when you're playing a full version. These are some of the things I observed:

- Beautiful stylistic graphics. The game looks very polished and runs smoothly. The music is nice. Maybe add some variation?

- Appreciate the attention to detail with the NPCs and the different look away from tiresome cliches. Well done.

- Incoming ships and the ability to trade with the newcomers are very nice features.

- Making money is hard. Yes, you can sell wood, but you also need it for important crafting items.

- There are hunters and talk of deer, but I haven't seen any game.

- An age-old problem in these types of games is that few people repay your services with money. Bartered items are useful but they don't buy a coop or a barn or pay the tax.

- Speaking of the tax, it might be intentional that there is a tax in this historical setting, given the presence of Red Coats and the opulence of the governor's house. If not, there's a thought to mull over. That said. The tax is a major burden. As soon as I actually have some money to get some important basics, it goes to the governor. I'm almost inclined to toggle it off. Also, maybe the tax should be lower at first when there's very little on the land and then goes up as you add stuff? Not too much higher, I hope. :)

- The game needs a way to find NPCs and track the ones with quests - clearly. Right now, you have to go to the People page to find out where they live and what they do.

- The beach area is too small, as foraging goes.

- How the heck do you do fishing? I tried several times (checked the tutorial too) and then gave up. I have to agree with some other comments that it is not written in stone that every game of this type should have a mini fishing game. Right now, it's needlessly complicated. Does there need to be a mini game there? Maybe just have fishing without a game, but with varying degrees of difficulty based on what you're catching?

- Thank you. Very nice game.

The moment they added the option to turn off the fishing mini game in testing i did. I think the mini game might be actually fun if you're using a controller, but on K+M it just wasn't much fun.

When you have a quest ready to turn in the NPC shows up on the map, but it would be nice to be able to track people any time. Like in Coral Island you can go to the NPC page and click on them, and it shows you where they are. That way the map stays uncluttered but you can still find people.

I didn't see the NPC that had her quest fulfilled on the map (as a marker). And the people page told me where she lived but not where she was on the map. That last part would be helpful and would avoid clutter.

I'm in Summer and finding it pretty hard to get money - crops sell for next to nothing and to make food requires a lot of different crops/items. Wood sells for 10 yes but like you said, it's needed for a lot of crafting things. Also, how do you even get the anvil? I've been buying nails from the blacksmith

Valid points! Music changes over seasons so that'll provide more variation. Processing crops into recipes and with crafted items increases their value. Deer and other animals show up sometimes in the forest but there's no surefire way to get that to happen. Making money balanced for all playstyles is a very hard problem; some players have trouble paying on time while others were getting all the fancy dresses in the demo. We'll see what we can keep doing here to make it a better experience.

You can get the anvil recipe from blacksmith quests or raising crafting to level 6
