How to Cut Down Trees/Saplings?
I have a number of saplings/trees on my farm that I want to move. I notice the game has a disturbing mechanic of no ax to force player into limiting their ability to get wood (which is very annoying) but does that mean that there is no way to get rid of these?

On the first day you have a quest from the blacksmith on the community board for 20 wood, which you have to get by shaking trees and then you get an axe from him.

At this moment in time the axe is only useful for cutting trees on your farm which don't grow back. Your main source of wood is going to be shaking trees around town. If you shake every tree around town you can get over 50 pieces of wood in one day.
The devs have talked about a future update introducing the ability to plant trees on the farm (separate from fruit trees).

It would be nice if trees would drop seeds and grow saplings (which then grow to full sized trees when you cut down nearby full size trees) on their own similar to other farming sims.
Also, please, have weeds and stones respawn after winter.
