Tapper?

Am I just an idiot (completely possible) or are there no maple trees to stick this onto? Did I miss them being for sale in a season, possibly? Thanks so much, lovelies!

We have not added in tapper functionality yet

I've tried it with several trees. As of now, none seem to work sadly.

Tree tapper is still something that comes up as a craftable. I made one and then found this thread about it not being functional.

I guess I'll put it aside and hope maple trees become a thing someday soon, so that I can use it.
