I encountered a weird glitch

I finally was able to save up enough resources and money for a barn and - set it down in the only space available. But now my character can't leave a little square outside their house, like adding the barn added invisible walls around the rest of the farm and the way down to town.
Is there a ...way to unglitch, this? From my end?

Is the barn still being built? Based on a vague memory of someone else posting a few days ago who experienced a similar bug, I believe the problem goes away once the barn finishes being built - maybe you can search for the post.

Edit: The post was here. Assuming it's the same bug, you can get around the issue by fast travelling to another spot and then walking back to your farm, and it should go away once the barn is finished.
