Inaccessible NPCs

Getting really fed up with not being able to turn in quests because the NPC is upstairs!!!! Either have us able to enter upstairs rooms or have them stay downstairs until the quest is turned in!!!

i have found that in cases where they are inaccessible (like bedridden etc) you can still finish the quest if you have the items necessary in your inventory. You do it with going to your journal - click the relevant quest, and there should be a small envelope-button in the top right corner of the window. I think this option is ONLY available if the NPC is locked in their room.

+ 1 to post above. I was very frustrated about not being able to turn in a quest to people who were sick and locked themselves away. Once I read the post above I was able to happily turn in all my quests and fill up my inventory with the rewards. Thank you for sharing!

This does not work for me. Only to pay my taxes, none of the other quests. I have missed a few quests already because of this.......frustrating.

In my experience, for the button to be available in your journal, you have to have the quest requirement in your inventory, and the NPC has to be locked in their room bc of illness etc. (After closing time etc doesn't count). Idk if that helps at all in your case. Just so that there's no misunderstanding.
