Medium labor begone

What does it mean to have my medium area increased? The medium difficulty is always unlocked on any area.

its like the easy labor, where u have 100/100 waves already unlocked up to w/e area u have reached, medium is for the 200/200 version

But what's the point of medium labor begone if i always have medium difficulty unlocked? If i beat an area it unlocks the next area with its easy and medium difficulty. It seems I'm missing something.

Waves beat are taken into account in the reincarnation formula.
So for example if your Easy Labor Begone let you start at 1-6 and you immediatly transition to medium at the start of a run you'd miss the bonus from 1000 waves (from 1-1 to 1-5) to your reincarnation experience.

Switching to medium doesn't make one miss out on 500 waves (let alone 1000 1-1 to 1-5). Easy labor begone advantage doesn't get nullfied by changing difficulty, but is kept. Medium difficulty includes waves of easy difficulty AND offers 100 extra more.

It isn't 1000 but it's indeed 500 in the example I used.
