If confection levels were linear at the rate you mentioned it'd take 242500 levels to make the x4.85 multiplier that I currently have on that line. But I have 259e6 levels there. Hmm, fiddling with numbers real quick... I don't know if this is actually the formula or if it'd work for any other values besides the one I've got right now, but log(259e6) / 1.735 = about 4.85.
EDIT: log(1.2e6) / 1.735 = about 3.50, so there's more to it than my quick calculation of a possible formula if your multiplier is 1. Something must affect how big the divisor in that formula is. Or it's just not a base 10 log to begin with. I don't know.
