How builders work?

Hi,

I just reached A12 and built my first building. Now I am confused.
Builders number says 0/1. I thought that after finishing the building, builder becomes available for new build.
How does it work? Why I can't build another building - I have enough material for 3-4 buildings.
Are builders one use only? Where can I find another one?

And little off topic - how can I increase number of miners?

I haven't noticed any problems with builders not becoming available again. You told them to start upgrading a building (should've been green arrows marking buildings that you had enough resources for), you waited out the timer (arrows on that building change to orange while the timer is running), and... then what happened? Should be available again after that.

I've only seen one single-level upgrade available that adds +1 builder. It's in the whack shop. At least a couple of the shops have multi-level upgrades for extra outposts and for extra charges in the trade center, but we're really limited on how many buildings can be upgraded at the same time.

Miners are unlocked based on total levels on buildings. Click on the still-locked slots to see how many levels each one is asking for. Like I've got three miners myself, and the fourth one is asking for 170 building levels (and I'm currently at 118).

EDIT: Currently in A17, by the way. The various shops in the game do have upgrades not visible to me yet (need to be in at least A18, A20, or A25 to see them) and I don't know what those will be.

OK, after restart, the builder is displayed as 1/1 and I can properly build new building. Looks like some kind of bug.

Looks like a 3rd builder was added to the farming shop with the update that just went out. High cost though. 1e210 fries. The latest upgrade I've bought from there cost 1e84 fries so that looks pretty far away for me.
