atm I'm using E5C + Tango + Arizona + Aphrodite + Hiko + Nucifera
with IR and Reinc pets on standby
I think maybe an "ideal" for pets might change depending on the current class and what you're currently trying to do? I've been lazy about this myself (Freeloader is for new gear and it's the only class I've been using the unique talent nodes, but otherwise I've just been grabbing pretty much all the same nodes in every class), but in theory we ought to be focusing on something specific with each class. So the "best" pets to have active would be whatever aligns with whatever you're trying to maximize with your current class.
I want to work out what each class ought to focus on and re-do my talent loadouts with that in mind and then figure out different loadouts for active pets that can compliment each of those... I suspect that loadouts for expeditions will get complicated when juggling between different loadouts for the active team, since the game won't let you use a loadout with a pet that's already busy with something.
expedition 5 (i think first one)
