Question regarding Reincarnation xp reduction perk in the residue shop.

I have gathered that this is very useful, especially in late ascension runs. I feel it is probably working, however, as I see the % rise as I farm residue, my xp needed per reincarnation level never budges to reflect this.

For example, at Reincarnation level 6,050, the Reincarnation screen shows that I need 247 million Reincarnation xp for my next level. So, as the residue perk for reduction of reincarnation to level increases, I would expect that 247 million xp requirement to reduce along with it.

Is this just a case of the information in game not reflecting something that is actually working under the hood? I certainly hope so because I am putting forth quite a lot of resources and time to my residue farm for this perk lol

Nvm, I realized it was just going up in such small %'s that the abbreviated "247m" number wasn't showing it because it was abbreviated lol
