Does it ever get warmer?
I'm currently going for the 100 days achievement, and wondering if/when the weather will get warmer, or if I should ditch the notion of farming altogether since at 40+ days, it's currently too cold to grow stuff (since like day 35?) and temps are in the negatives at all times.

Get all your gas cans full, keep all your vehicles full, start a single large fire and the entire map will have 30 degrees celsius for like. a year in game lol. I do this at all my gas stations as well to not need to worry about cold sapping my HP as I craft etc.

I can say for sure that by day 57 it gets even colder. -7 at morning every day. So ditch the farming and stockpile on non-perishable food.

traps and fishing for long term survival, though I have not gone past 30,

fishing and fishing traps are the way. Fishing bait is very effective and can be crafted at 1 for 0.2 weight of any food (including rotten). Even the smallest catch (shrimp) gives you net return on this (although I'll usually throw them back for better). Can also catch multiple fish at a time using fishing traps, unlike most(all?) of the land traps.

Fishing at the seaside location, especially if you keep the marina entrance blocked off and get tents (or hold up at a nearby house), is particularly profitable.

Parks are also a good option but usually have more unblocked entrances to defend at night.

In addition to cooking fish whole (great satiety bonuses), drying fish is a great option for long term storage while you explore the map.

dont count farming out just yet. unrealistic, but you can actually just create a really big fire, and this can heat the entire area.. enough to make crops grow again.

with a gas station unlocked, infinitely fueling really big fires becomes pretty trivial.

I've a Driver companion with a Fire Truck so I might humor that...

I got past day 100 and it was still very cold.
I recall someone (the dev? not sure) mentioning that it will get warmer after some time, though.
