how to make the vaccine?

I've got the portable generator and put a head in the box, but I've got a bio reactor and a sythesizer module and don't know where to put them

you need 4 of those synthesizers total, 1 is found fully built you have to build the other 2. you need 100 heads by bashing the body and legs of zombies and right clicking them on the overworld to take their head, requires a rag and gives no loot for zombie killed.

you need a portable generator to synthesize the antigens using the system on the right in the basement and the heads.

you need full tanks of the 2 chems as well.

Good luck. I edited the files to let me craft the chems since the facility did not have enough in my game.

So you need to also find the crafting book that will be either on a zombie or in one of the containers at the location to craft the other two modules needed for the vaccine. The module goes on one of 3 empty spots around the big machine in the basement.

I have the prebuilt one and the bio core at the lab, I assume another is at the military base, where is the last one?

nvm, saw there was one uninstalled one, one installed one, and the biocore in the truck at the center so I just need one more

I do only see three antigen containers though but it looks like there should be four. do I need to build another?

No, there are only three tanks: one for saline solution, another for aluminum hydroxide, and the last for the antigen (made from the heads).

I've got 10 saline and 10 aluminum having looted the entire place, is this enough?

Nope, that is not enough.
Should've killed the scientist zombies since they can drop the chems needed.
When you pick up the heads they don't drop anything.
You can try to trade for the chems from fortified houses or NPCs, or check pharmacies.

I also posted a last resort solution in one of the threads where the OP was missing only a few and was getting tired of his current run.

you think I somehow managed to loot everything in the research center without killing all of the scientist zombies?

So like on another post if you killed the scientists by taking their heads instead of killing with a head shot they don't drop loot instead just giving a zombie head. So even if you did it only to a hand full of them that might have caused a shortage for the needed chems. If you wait in the zone awhile new scientist zombies wonder back in.
