performance is still awful. I can run far more graphically intense games without issue. not to mention the guaranteed crash on startup unless steam is in offline mode. early access does not make it acceptable to release a game that does not run at a basic level. I've refunded, will consider returning once the game is out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pre-alpha.

okay! good stuff! since youre adding a base rail to everyone id suggest starting everyone with one medkit too if you keep the healing system the same going forward.
having a starter side-arm is easily my favorite change other than the optimization! keep it up!!

Nice start, really, at least now I have the ability to bind my mouse side buttons. Still have huge fps drops in hub location on 3080Ti

Strangely I can't run the game anymore. Every time I run it, it just encounters a "fatal error".

we should have a medkit by default, really puzzling why even unlocking one is a "power up" its not even an option to not have like at least one. also the medigem resource being tied to individual worlds is not a good system as when you start a new one you dont have any to make medkits, and if you make one in world its more expensive than just at the hub. It is also weird because if you join worlds in progress to maybe fight a boss or something you wont have any medkits. I think this mechanic needs to be looked at again in general.

Would wager that it would be better for you guys to release the game only after this update instead of the state it was launched in to suppress negative reviews

please lower the price on lower-income countries like brazil!
I actually liked the lack of info, it is frustrating at times but feels more true to the world. The first game does a similar thing and you are expected to just kinda figure it out and learn what things mean. I understand this isn't an ideal experience for most but I do quite enjoy learning how to play the game and how the world works.
fyi if you start the game with an active internet connection on the Steam Deck it'll crash with a fatal error, it needs to be launched with no connection to be able to work for some reason
