Hyper Light Breaker

Are there any African American Characters?
After looking at the game play footage I feel excited to try out this game tomorrow; however, I did notice something very concerning...a lack of African American representation in the game.

I know most trolls will say that there are no human races represented in the game; however, I think we can anthropomorphize characters based on their hairstyles + the relative darkness of their fur.

Vermilion: White fur, light-medium hair, short hair -> white male
Lapis: White fur, white-medium hair, long hair -> white female
Goro: Purple fur, hooded (not sure of hair) -> cancer survivor?

Can we please add a black or brown fur character with dark hair to add some representation for African Americans?

Edit: I am saddened with the lack of empathy for minorities some of the responses to my post have expressed; I will be donating to the NAACP and UNCF in response to your ignorance.

"It seems this person has developed a singular talent for standing out, but only by clinging to a shockingly narrow-minded perspective. Their view rests on an unfounded and intellectually dishonest dismissal of other cultures and ethnicities, making them an unwitting – and tragic – example of ignorance and prejudice."

No, this is a game about animals and robotic creatures, no humans

Goro bit is true, i was personally in contact with the character designer to work on Goro.
To answer your question, there's going to be a lizard looking dude later on, who will have reggae hair and a sports jersey as cosmetic alternative. :cozyspaceengineersc:

Why the hell is it always an African American that they always point to for representation? I mean, yeah, I don't think about it myself, as a black man, but I also am aware that there's more races that are dark skinned than "African American". It's like they just want to put brown skinned people in for brownie points (heh heh), and they don't give a damn about minorities beyond filling a quota to say they are "diverse". Why don't they say this ♥♥♥♥ in regards to non-Caucasian white people that are minorities? Is it because dark skin is the most recognizable?

Your profile is private and you answered to a thread that is obvious bait. If you looked at Krenicus profile he is trying to draw negative attention to African Americans. Krenicus has his state as Washington. His last games were Lies of P and he didn't ask any of this foolishness before.

Just to be clear some of you are so pathetic that you are actually running down African Americans the people hung and murdered throughout American history on online forums.

Then when Elon calls you too stupid to do the jobs of Engineers you get mad, but honestly there are a sect of you that hang on to African Americans like they will redeem you being trash in your real life.

Like the above poster saying " Why the hell is it Always African Americans". It isn't always African Americans you are making that up. Second if you weren't a clown you would figure out those are going to be the Black people American Developers know. Are you mad when it is white an American?

Third which group of Black people will best be known around the world? African Americans because they are the nearest to the media centers in America. Name one Technological Advanced Black nation, and then you can get your answer to why Black Americans are overly represented. Ever hear of the Global south, of course not, most of you don't read. Anyway.

Some of you are so bad for our country that I can't even begin to disagree with Musk any more. If you are this stupid on an online forum, I can only imagine what you are like at your work place.

We need H1Bs. Too many Americans minds are stuck on "Beer, What are African Americans Doing, and GUNS!".

I mean lets be fair, it's usually literally white knights. White dudes asking for representation for other races.
That said yes it's always ABOUT black people, because Liberal whites are obsessed with Black people. Have been since they constantly held slaves.
