Abyss Core Drop Bug?

Not sure if this is a bug but did the three bosses stop giving Abyss Cores? I just defeated two of the bosses and my Abyss cores stayed at 1, only after i got to the abyss king screen where it gifts you an abyss core did i get 1 (now at 2). I checked the patch notes but did not notice anything mentioned about abyss core drops changing. Anyone else have this issue?

Haven't played on the new patch yet, but even before the update, Abyss Stones weren't guaranteed to drop (I'd guess it's closer to 50/50?) The patch may have changed something but you may have also just gotten unlucky

Only first boss and when you "win" by reaching the abyss king you get another

oh maybe i got lucky in my previous runs then, thought that it was guaranteed drop from each of the bosses. Thanks for the info o7
