I guess people haven't figured out after all these years that HALF of the IT industry are people into furry kinks. I guess having the last IT con next door to the Fur con wasn't obvious enough.

Didn't know that was a thing, but it looks fun, love their pixel art too.

I spent hundreds of hours on the first. Great drop in and out coop and it has a pretty much endless NG+ mode. This and streets of rogue 2 are some of my most anticipated games of the year. Gonna settle in with HoH2 in a few hours.

All characters in HLD were anthropomorphized animals too.

And many in Solar Ash were too.

Nothing wrong with it. Aliens can look any which way, we don't know. Plus none of them look exactly like a real world species of animal in humanoid from. For instance, the Blu are a cat-like people, but they don't quite look like cats. Neither do the Tanooki look that close to Japanese raccoon dogs or normal raccoons. Crows don't look super close to real crows too, or any bird for that matter.

This is such a non-issue LOL. And if they were closer, it would still be a non-issue.

this one clearly is catering to the sexual animal crowd with the tail and everything
Nope, the character was NOT human. He was one of the same blue feline creatures. It wasn't super clear because of the pixelated less detailed aesthethic though. But it was more clear with other Blu that you encounter. If you look closely, you will see that those have two pointed ears underneath their hoods or caps.

Is this an SBI product?
I played the first one but this one looks very different, have someone played it already? what obvious cringe progressive stuff is in the game? is it mostly clean and they backtracked on the progressive agenda when they looked the bad rep SBI and DEI stuff brings to games?
Nope. They rejected SBI's ideas very early on, like all the way back in 2023 even, and parted ways with them, barely even one year after the release of the game they put out before Breaker's development started. But people are lazy and don't like to do even the bare minimum of research. Or perhaps some just want to see the world burn? So theres been a lot of blatantly false accusations that they are working with SBI when they aren't.

Sweet Baby Inc. had HLB listed as one of their projects until a few months ago, why would they do that? What did SBI do for the game that would make them think they deserve to be in part credited for it?

Hard to believe, but I am 100% serious on this:

Not a single game has ever bombed or failed because they're "wOkE". It's all coincidence. There was always some other factor that actually led to its shortcomings. There are games that are even less "wOkE" than BG3 that you've no doubt labeled as such and of course blamed "dEi" when they didnt sell as well.

Don't believe me? Name one game you think failed "cause of wOkE". No lengthy paragraphs attached to it, no lists of them all at once. Just moderate it to one game at time, cause we know we both got other things to do.
I already did, its Veilguard

Veilguard may have lacked some of the nuance and subtlety of the previous installments, but it was just Bioware wanting to simplify the franchise as an introduction to new players. Sure it didn’t quite pan out, but to blame that on “wOkEness” is misguided. It was just poor execution, something every writer/director is capable of regardless of political affiliation, and EA/Bioware’s dwindling reputation after the disappointing Andromeda and the disastrous Anthem. Try again. Next game.

"majority"

you mean the same majority that gave Baldur's Gate 3 GOTY at the steam awards? yeah no you are not part of that clearly.
Why did BG3 succeed? Was it because of DEI? And why did BG3 succeed and DA:V fail?

Because BG3 just had better writers, a studio that didn’t fire its employees at the drop of a hat, and wasn’t owned by a greedy AAA publisher. Blaming “wOkEness” for bad writing is lazy, misguided, unconstructive, and ignores the real problems.

This game is not worth buying doesn't mean I'm not wealthy enough to buy it

Keep paying to test unfinished product and stfu clown.
guys, its not my fault you dont get paid well enough to buy games and then get mad about it. gaming is a costly hobby, and if you can't afford it, maybe you shouldnt be here, its all im saying.
Imagine calling beta-testing for which you need to pay and not other way around - gaming.
