I'm working with some duality. While the game is lewd and proud of it, I'm also working with the lore and satire of the whole pron situation. So I'm always adding stickers here and there.
Do note that I don't mean to say any of this as an attack on your person or any of the work you have done. It just kind of saddens me that censorship is the path this development has taken when I looked forward to enjoying a game of this style and quality with bare tids. It's not that common, I'm afraid.
I am actually working on a nude texture overall! I'm decensoring a lot of items such as characters, magazines and advertisements. I'm just putting a little hold on the project at the moment because I need strictly "vanilla" visuals for a review I'm writing.
My biggest fight as developer, as someone who's choosing what would be done next, is to be sure of what really cares, of what's going to be more important to the game. And I must confess, I dont have a clear opinion right now.
Last time I thought on working on lewd contend, I did purchased a new wacom tablet, and prepared some animations to work on, not using the pixel/gif esque, but using adobe Flash, since it's way easier to work on more fluid animations using movement of pieces, than by a really low-res pixel animation (there's two tests of it, one on the Theater, other on the Gastro Cola street animations).
But then I really got myself in question, is it really important to work on better quality dvd videos in-game? Or I'm looking for excuses to dump valuable time? Will people really buy the game because of it? There's other way better studios with really better animations than mine. Maybe I should just try a semi-nsfw because Duke3d was not pornographic (except for it's odd VA ending?).
Just lots of thoughts. Being totally honest, not sure about it, but everything is set to start working on new animations. Maybe I will take some time to sit down and work on these after more core features gets done.
Thanks for reading my BS,
edit: I mean, there's the vanilla files, this part is easy, but loading the textures and dealing with other details, not so much.
In terms of textures, I ended up ripping, modifying and re-inserting them directly from the game files. It's not an elegant means of modding, but it's how I've added nudity to Unity-based software before.
The nice thing about mods is "not my circus, not my monkeys". . . the game stays SFW, and users interested in nudity get to enjoy nudity by unofficial support :)
I'm quite interested. Let me know when you post your mods!
Keep up the good work!

The textures used for the characters are somewhat difficult to "eyeball", so it's necessary to reference the models themselves to make accurate changes.
Fortunately, I was able to port the models in Blender and paint them by hand. As I write this post, I'm working on Liza's model. I think y'all are going to like what I have here, but the installation is going to be a little tricky. I'm not going to be sharing the modified game files directly.
Server space ain't free and it's unethical.
But this isn't the first Unity game I've modded, so I know how to write a good tutorial!
I've been at this thing all day today.
I even managed to "uncensor" the adult DvDs! They were a lot of work; I had to port the sprite sheets into Asesprite and attempt to reconstruct the censored portion of the animations. Fortunately, I have experience animating pixel art. In fact, I even took the time to "correct" a lot of existing content by eliminating stray pixels and improving shading.
A lot of content hurts the perfectionist in me.
By porting the character models into Blender, I was able to repaint most of the characters with nude bodies. However, a lot of characters have armor pieces that end up covering my work. It's a good thing the game has a "Nudifier", right?
Unfortunately, I royally screwed up. . . so I have to rebuild the patch. But after testing a janky reconstruction, I found that a few of my textures aren't showing up. Uh oh!
It seems the development actually renamed a lot of textures in a recent update, so I have to play "detective" and figure out the correct files to overwrite. No biggie, I found them once I can find them again!
If everything goes to plan, I'm hoping to release the patch tomorrow (or technically, later today) after writing a tutorial. The installation process will involve overwriting files via a "package" file, which will be comprised of strictly modified content. This way, it's easy on my server space and quick to download!
The article to search for is "Fi da Booty Samurai: a nude mod for Fi da Puti Samurai", but it'll be a few days before it shows up on Google search results.
Lemme know how it works out!
Also, I know it's a bit of a long shot but if I could gain access to "base files", it'd do wonders for my work flow. I had to perform quite a bit of "reverse engineering" to produce the textures I modified. Considering the amount of unclothed models I saw in the files, I bet there's a set of "master files" with uncensored bits.
Feedback is welcome, I'm sure I goofed *something* somewhere.
We wombats aren't the sharpest marsup's in the shed.
I err on the side of caution and write tutorials for users that aren't tech savvy, so I photograph every step (even though it looks complicated).
It's also the only way to patch the game without some sort of DLC; maybe if I used another version UABE I could make an EXE installer but they look pretty sketchy in practice lol
