Giving gifts is tedious as hell

After every mission I have to go to all the characters, give gifts, have a waaaay to long animation of a gift traveling towards the character, repeat for every character, every gift...
Is there any way to speed it up? The conversations can be, but still I have to deal with everything around it.

Agreed. I did a second playthrough to 100% the game and would do all the gifting about every two or three chapters. Watching the gift animation play 15 or so times at least was really annoying.
