I played 8 or so demos before this from next fest and was starting to worry there was nothing but trash this time around. Then I got to this one and I'm blown away. This game is going to be amazing! I love everything about it, especially my man Steve Blum voicing the main character. This game is pure fun and I can't wait to buy the full thing!
Love the gameplay, but kinda find the story sooo annoying. If it could be shorten, or completly skipable, I would love it.
I love the gameplay, very smooth, but walking speed is a bit too slow though, but maybe you already tried to make it faster and it wasn't enjoyable idk.
Dialogues are too long and not that interesting imo, I wanted to skip them.
I will buy it day one anyways just for the gameplay, great job devs

Nice gameplay.
I really enjoyed the demo.

There's really only one thing that bugged me that I can give feedback on.
The jump feels like it's the same height every time, and it's a pretty big jump to begin with. Being able to do smaller jumps would be a big help to make the game feel like it flows better, maybe by just tapping space, and then having the jump be higher depending on how long you hold down space?
I just want full game rn or at least preorder it.
Everything is great in your game, the voice acting of the characters is cool, the levels and the pace of the game. Looking forward to the release! P.S. I love soundtrack in this game! Can you upload it on Spotify pls?
Absolutely loved the demo! I was already looking forward to the game, but this reignited that interest even more!
Really loved the balance of difficulty, never took too long nor was it frustrating to get Gold/Ace medals.
The only nitpick, what an other user pointed out aswell that some of the dialouge is quite internet-y. But this is minor, in my case, it didnt make me skip dialouge as the VOs are stellar and the characters (and overall how they look like are and their artstlye is really up my alley) are interesting.
Will be a must buy for me, as soon as it comes out, and wish you the best of luck for the rest of the development!

I am thoroughly enjoying the gameplay!
The matter of the quality of the story, without disrespecting your efforts on it, I feel aren't as relevant an issue as the lack of option to skip through it instantly.
Please take into consideration that this is a speedrun game. Frequent downtime will only detract from it. It takes way too long to skip through the cutscenes and rank up screens. When I open a game like this, which is centered around speed, I want a fast and easy option to just cut to the chase. Maybe have an optional "speedrun mode" you can enable which just lets you go level to level with minimal downtime.
That aside, I have nothing of note to add, it's just awesome!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this game. Got it wishlisted and I look forward to play the full version when it's out!

Edit: On second thought, I also suggest adding a very fast countdown from 3 in the beginning of each round. Something like Cyber Hook's. It sometimes feels like you're being robbed of a few miliseconds from the moment you start the run.

Gameplay is nice, hopefully it doesn't stay too easy in the later levels.
Writing is weeb cringe and everyone older than 14 should skip the cutscenes
you're a lot of fun huh?

Absolutely love what I played so far. The mechanics really ramp up and I love how complex it gets later on, while still pushing that 'flow-state' side of things. I got a gameplay/impressions video going up later. Keep up the great work!

Oh and please pay no mind to the person who said the writing was bad or whatever. The voice actors have all done an amazing job and the dialogue has been very charming and fun so far.

Now all we need is a release date. :FrogChamp:
Dialogue's charming, I love the character designs, and I find the game really fun and replayable. The levels are definitely the right length, and the combat, platforming, and movement all just flow really well. I love how there are a ton of alternate ways to traverse the levels and that you can find mastery by taking shortcuts. This demo bumped up the place of this game on my Steam Wishlist to 2nd place. I'm really looking forward to the full release.

The game is amazing and this is one of the only speed games where I've really felt compelled to go above gold, but in completing the demo I ran in to one kind of weird UI choice. I would always get the present last after getting a time that I thought was acceptable, but then there's no "go to next level" button when you grab the present like there is when you reach the goal. Instead you've got to pause and choose go to next level from there. Literally the smallest first world problem, but it was the only friction I had in the whole game so I thought I should mention it.

- I like the color coded card system. It gets to the point where you don't have to look at the card name/icon at all and you can memorize each card's abilities by color. Same with switch switching cards in your hand; you never have to take your eyes off the action and can just focus on the color of card in your peripheral vision. I think it's great.

- Only issue I can see by the color coded system; Maybe adding a colorblind option would help some others. I'm not colorblind, but I imagine adding such a setting could be useful.

I think adding some kind of change to the cross-hair based on the currently equipped card would help alleviate the color blind issue. Maybe an icon near the cross-hair that represents the weapon or skill, the image is already present on the card but it would alleviate the issue for people who cannot discern card colors and stop them from having to look at the card itself to get a clear image of what weapon is equipped.
Maybe even just putting the name somewhat faintly under the cross-hair?

So like:
............+
....GODSPEED

(but without all my periods used to center it, because I can't get it to center.)
