Lack of weapon models feels weird
There's a huge disconnect using weapons without being able to see them. Just watching the gameplay alone it looked weird so I can't imagine how weird it's going to feel playing it. Everything else in the game looks fantastic except for that

I used to play Unreal Tournament without any weapon models and that was the best way to play the game for me.
Actually wish there was more games allowing you to remove the models, so this game not having any doesn't bother me that much.
But I also understand why few ppl may find it weird.
Honestly the card model feels okey for me, since you don't exactly aim like you would in a pure shooter game, it doesn't bother me that much.

The camera beeing super steady to, no head bobing, no body movement and, apparently so far, no body model tho' is something that make it feel really weird.
It just looks like you're in free-cam mode (or a ghost) and travel through the level.
Would appreciate some sort of model and movement render like Mirror's Edge or something.

Yea modern fps game not having the weapon models is pretty odd choice. Feels like a floating camera. Interesting design otherwise.

in game it feels totally fine, and it's less resources the devs have to put into a feature which doesn't benefit game play function at all.
Old shooters didn't have gun models and people adored them. Takes 1-2 levels and your acclimated.

Necropost but no I'm good, not interested in reasons why, just was stating my preference. Old shooters were old shooters, things change

I mean it feels fine but it would feel even better if you had an actual character model you could see. Whether it's just hands/arms or more. The game looks floaty and less grounded because of the lack of it. It's just such an odd design choice for a first person game in the year 2022.

well I guess that counts two more people not buying for a pretty silly reason but you do you.

Old shooters were still shooters just like shooters are still shooters today, it's a design choice and you don't have to like it, but claiming the game is "behind the times" because they chose not to do something design wise that doesn't serve the game in any way just outside visual flair seems ridiculous.

Lucky for you every other shooter exists. You'll find something, I believe in you.

Edit: yes it's a necro post because these forums are so dead that 1 year old posts were still sitting on the front page.
