even if the price IS to stop hackers, it's also hurting future players as no one wants to pay $20 for a game like this
i know but when u do pay 20 you get 5000 shiny rocks which is kinda good?
As someone who doesn't care about cosmetics at all in games, no. That is not good. You are getting the same experience as prior and being forced to buy in game credits before you even even try the game or see what is available or if it is worth it.
If it was $5 with $5 worth of in game credit, then I could see it being a preventative measure.
$20 is just the dev's being greedy and thinking that with a paid cost that high that the game will continue to see the same exposure.
Nobody wants a shįtty in-game currency that you can buy shįtty cosmetics with. That's what most players have agreed upon. Forcing those players to "buy 5000 shiny rocks" when they neither wanted nor needed to is a shįtty move.
Fücking hell. Really? That's always a direct negative for any game with a community comprised of toddlers: they always use the most annoying and distracting voice filters.
It has far better graphics, far better mod support, and far better mechanics.
Not to mention way better and more mods than Midrilla tag. 20$ is not a justified price to stop cheaters when you can use accounts from Argentina with a VPN to get games for a third of the price. If the devs actually bothered to add an anti-cheat and actively worked on patching exploits and adding more ways to detect things they wouldn't need to resort to this. I don't know if it's sheer incompetence on their part or greediness. The game is going to die at an even faster rate.
