Please give extreme detail on game mechanics
I love this game and want to get very good at it so that I can be smooth and fast monke, and therefore have lots of fun.
Naturally when wanting to get good at something you want to understand it in complete fullness.
So, would we be able to know /////exactly///// how "x" works?
-General movement
-Gripping
-Speed
-Why slapping a surface then launching yourself from the surface gives you a massive speed boost
-Monkey taggers / ones who are 'it' speed boosts
-Hitboxes
-Why hands will glitch their way off the top of trees
-Torso
-Servers
-What lag affects

And ideally each would be explained with lots of text and more importantly formulas/calculations

This is asking a tonne, though it'd be super nice to know

Your hand hitboxes are spheres. They do not change with moving your fingers whatsoever. I believe they're at in the middle of the palms, so flicking your wrists do things. Only your butt, head, and hands have hitboxes. Your arms and neck can phase through walls and trees. I've found that this game uses a simple momentum mechanic where the first hit isn't very powerful, but the second hit is, or nearly is full-force. The monkey taggers are extremely fast in the beginning, but the speed boost decreases as more monkeys are tagged. I don't have exact speed numbers, but it's about, like, 35% faster than base monkey for the first tagger or something ridiculously overpowered like that. Your torso has the only tagging hitbox that I've seen, as I've high-fived lava monkeys and didn't get tagged. Lag and rubber banding are nearly only beneficial for taggers. If you have a lag spike, your monkey will be stuck in space for the duration of the spike; I've been on the top of picnic house and then got all the way up to the top of tall tree before I was tagged. Looking back, I saw one of two lava monkeys on the picnic house while the other was on top of trunk.

As for your hands glitching off the tops of trees, I have no idea about that. It happens to me too. It was a LOT worse pre-update, where turning in any direction would completely muck up your standing on a tree.
