People should be able to hear you as long as your mic works and the game has permission to user your mic.
To verify the mic works:
>right click win10 sound icon
>sounds
>recording
>find your vr headset mic
>right click, enable
>right click, properties
>listen
>listen to this device
I don't know troubleshooting for knowing if monke game has access to your mic or not.
Though make sure your headset settings also has enabled microphone - if pcvr via steamvr, goto dashboard in vr and select audio button to increase volume of your mic.
To see if your mic works just talk until someone reacts.
If you don't want to restart, rightclick some white space in device manager and press scan for hardware changes.
Don't worry about deleting these drivers, they'll certainly automatically come back after a restart
Also sure the game is so fun thanks to its social, but for me, who prefers to be a mute in games, there's loads of fun to be had by simply flying around the trees, and improving your skill.
bit of a tangent but if youve time worth a read:
Many games don't have the aspect of improving your skill to make it more enjoyable. CSGO for instance, you can't really improve on your reactions and game sense and understanding of mechanics what-not than you already have.
But one recent game that focuses on you improving your skill and ability, is getting over it with bennet foddy. It was not made to be a rager btw. And the game was super fun, losing and losing added value to winning. After hours of trying to get past a section, but then getting good enough to actually get past it, was a feeling like none-other. And then winning was great - all your losses had made winning feel so good.
Anyways, I say this to get you to understand that hopefully for you you'd get lots of enjoyment from getting better and better.
