Voice options gone? Can't hear human voices, only monkeys!

Title. Is this a problem for anyone else? Will this be fixed?

This is happening for my son on Quest 2. Subscribing so I can hopefully find out what causes it. So far, uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn’t fix it, and deleting the save game data from storage also doesn’t fix it. Voice options on the computer in the starting room don’t affect it either.

It is the same for my kids, only monkey sounds. Is it a glitch or intended feature?

is this only on child accounts? has there been an update?
do you guys have parental supervision set up for your kids?

Any solution to this? My kid is complaining about the same thing. Is it a age restriction thing maybe? My kid is not 13, but above 10 and her account has parantel supervision or what ever its called :)

Voice Chat has been modified when a Parent-Managed Meta Account is in use. The player will only be able to hear monkey sounds produced from the other players in the lobby they are in. The tab to modify this existing setting can not be modified as well"

We have a Quest 3 and only my youngest’s account (under 13) has the monkey chat my and my oldest accounts can both hear humans voices. But I don’t see any options to change in parental settings.

There has been a age restriction options update, Kids under 13 only hear Monkey voices instead of human voices and cannot join private lobbies, You're Welcome.

I don’t think you can, unless you want to create a whole new account
