Is the mic not working fixable?

When i got the game on steam, i have not been able to use my microphone. Anyone know a way to fix it?

maybe turn on your oculus mic in the setting on your pc or go to the computer and then the voice chat settings or what it is

i heared you have to buy a mic for steam vr

assuming youre on quest 2/3, go into steam vr settings and make sure the input and ouput is either steamvr input microphone, or oculus virtual audio device, if youre using steam link, use the steam one, if youre using oculus' native streaming (air link/wired) use the oculus virtual audio device

i used voicemod and put the mic and output to oculus and go to settings, make sure input is voicemod and output is oculus

no i tried that it doesent work i tried voicemod to get input but no help
