does my gtag data get saved to the cloud?

i have to restore my computer and i was just wondering if my data gets saved like cosmetics because ive spent way too much on this game for it to be erased.

Did you ever figure out how to do this? I just formatted my PC but did a backup of gorilla tag and lost everything my son had gotten. I have the backup files still called depotcache but I'm not sure if this has his stuff or where to put it. I did a restore through steam but no go, no items. He is super bummed and I feel bad thinking I was good. Apex items are still there so I don't get it.

Yeah I haven't figured out how to do this either, but I think the reason it got erased is because it doesn't get saved to the steam cloud for whatever reason, but yeah I don't know where to put the backup files either, I would recommend maybe asking around in their discord server where to put the backup files, or you could ask on Reddit. Sorry I couldn't really help you with this.

I'm fairly certain that your cosmetics are saved to the gorilla tag servers.

thanks cause i needed to know cause my cousin wants my gtag account and i dont play much anymore but idk if i should give him it hes 9 yo what he gonna do

I mean hes spoiled as ♥♥♥♥ and probz only wants it cause i have like probz 100 / 200 dollars worth of ♥♥♥♥ on there and he has 3 cosmetics
