Longer Arms world scale override

So I myself have no issue playing the game, I can stretch my arm out the gorillas model with ease, however my son cant.

I found the glitch to change your arms off of youtube and followed the instructions. Handed the headset back over to my son but didnt see any change. When I went back to find if the setting stayed, it wasnt there any more.

Now under video >per application there is only like 1 or 2 options remaining, there is no override option.

Stupid things like this make me crazy, how was the option there before but now its gone????
Can anyone advise?

i know this sounds kinda risky but i has the same problem. when i went to override world scale it was blank, what i did was completely remove steam from my pc. i reinstalled it and stuff and it worked. also EVEN THOUGH it isnt a mod you still shouldnt break the games barrier by using a steamVR setting because it is still bannable. i hope this helps. :)

Thanks but yeah, thats a bit much to reinstall steam at this point, for something that may not work.

Go to the steam VR app in steam, (search VR in your library) and enable the beta updates update it and try again
