Children are ruining this game

Way too many children, please consider making adult/mature lobbies and implementing a kick system. There can certainly be abuses but the current state of the game went from extremely fun to extremely unenjoyable.

I do believe Oculus can ban you if you are under 13 years of age, which is a rule that I think should be enforced more. This games community was and still is pretty good, it was just better though before the wave of racist children started playing. I can't even host my own lobbies for my youtube channel without toxic 8 year olds joining the game, and thinking it is socially acceptable to be screaming racial slurs, because their parents aren't home. I get where you are coming from my dude, but the best way to deal with it, is to ignore it, and mute the kids being annoying.

That is just a number of extra steps, the amount of time that would waste adds up quickly. Better to just have mature lobbies and end it all.

Did you even read my post? I have no doubt kids will join at first but over time after they realize how ineffective what they are doing is, they will just give up

Yeah, they will just keep joining lobbies that they get instantly kicked from after being annoying, very productive use of time.

You know, one thing I am really glad about is that this game seems to be using a limiter/normalization for voice chat

It makes kids' screeching a lot less ear-piercing, which is definitely very very appreciated

okay so i think they make it interesting when it comes to screaming children. would a game based on a CHILDREN'S game have kids in it. yes. would a game about monkey tag be mature. no. its like going to a mcdonalds playplace and complaining that the youngsters are too loud. just think about it you warm toilet seat. if you really want to play a mature game of monkey tag, just go get some people you know and make a private match. if you want to meet people, go play vrchat or something its free.

i can agree that kids can get annoying, but its a public vr game, the only time i can see them as being an issue is screaming racial/ homophobic slurs, death threats, ext. (From my experience happens quiet frequently for some reason) but i wouldn't say they are "ruining the game" they can make the game less enjoyable, but that can be fixed with a swift lobby change if you don't like a lobby with a mass of children, or make a private room. If they are being homophobic, racist, and all of the other things that break the code of conduct, then reporting them, then leaving does the job quiet nicely.
