Are you forced to play with people?

When i first launched this game i was expecting some kind of menu where you could join lobbies or make your own but i was thrown into a cave forced to do parkour and then saw some people jumping around, idk if they were real, anyways my question is do you have to play with real people the first time you launch the game? Judging by the reviews it sounds like the community is horrible so i just wanted to play with my friend or do parkour in a private lobby.

no your not, thats the tutorial you only have to play it once

in the big tree you will spawn there ones you completed the (cave) there is a pc you can go into private lobbys from there

When you first play the game you spawn in the tutorial area where no on can reach you but you have to get down from there or you will be banned, you can create or join private games by using a computer in the huge log house.
