trying to play with my friend, help pls

so everytime we enter the same lobby code, we end up in diffrent lobbys(public and private) we just wanna play together and don't know why it doesn't work

try to make sure you're not hitting it at the same time? there are also problems if you're both on the same account (though this applies more to the non-steam version). double check you're entering the code correctly.

if you want to join a public match together, use the group join feature. go to a private room together, then go to the computer together. one person go to the group tap and hit enter on whichever map you wanna play in, and it should bring you into a public room together.

im having this exact same issue, we type in the same exact code and double check our spelling yet we get put in different lobbies.

there's currently a beta going on, make sure your are both either on the beta version or on the non-beta version

I'm having the same issue. I use the computer interface mod from monkey mod manager and am unable to use the group feature with my friends. We all sit on stool and someone presses enter while on the group tab. The person who presses it gets put into a public and no one else. My friends do not have any mods and are playing on Gorilla Tag on the Quest 2 Standalone. If I try and get them to join a public and then get them to tell me the code it just creates a private. We all make sure we are on the same gamemode, and we are. It works on my normal oculus account that doesn't have mods on it so I'm assuming it's to do with the computer interface mod.
