How do i play online

Hi guys, new to this game but not new to flying. I have been flying Janes Attack Squadron for years and a few other flight sims, so i thought id give this a go seeing it had good reviews. A couple of questions? Can i mod this game as i am new to steam and not sure how to go about it? Also, how do i play this online?

There is a software called hyperlobby that works as il2 1946 server browser also make sure that your game version is matching the sever version http://hyperfighter.sk/. Also if you have an IP of the server you can connect directly.

Hyperlobby is the only way to find IL2 1946 servers (now there is over 200 players online on Hyperlobby ), IL2 Servers are listed using that software, to get correct markings on your plane you shoud install also IL-2 Sturmovik Stab, it is found from here http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads
On IL-2 Sturmovik Stab you can set it so that it launches Hyperlobby automatically, Hyperlobby then automatically lauches IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 client if you have setup everyting correctly.
