I'm using this stick with the il2 and I'm finding it very fidgety making it extremely difficult to get crosshairs on a target. There's no finesse as you have this significant dead zone followed by hyper sensitivity so you lurch all over the place no matter how light your inputs. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity and dead zones in the Logitech profiler but without much success.

It's not the stick since I'm not having the same problem in European Air War.



For users of this stick what are your settings or is there a better program to assist with calibration?

Failing potentiometers, it is sadly inevitable with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. There are pricier joysticks out there that have HAL sensors instead, but those too can fail after some time.

I would raise the noise reduction and lower the sensitivity, deadzones help. Are you using the in-game control settings or the Logitech Profiler that they released for the joystick back in 2010?

I've tried adjusting both in-game settings and the Logitech Profiler. I don't think it's the stick as I can load EAW and not have a problem.

Wish there was an answer as I have the same joystick and exact same problem, which makes it nearly unplayable.

So I know your pain I had one got it on sale use it for a week didnt play after that maybe 3 or 4 day after that unusable if you push a little bit joystick plane would go straight to dive like i push it full. I give it back to store and told them that is not working got new one after 4 day same thing first store tought I am lying they didnt want to give me my money back but after some fight and sending proof as a video or picture the returned my money. So yea i would not recomend joystick and i think there is not fix for it only you change thing inside of it. ps: I had same issue in every game.
