How to get full screen to work

Its not letting me go fullscreen. Does not matter which res i choose but anything done in fullscreen the boarders or edges of screen are cut off and u cant see all the menu options please help.

Try this: go to your main 1946 game folder (it should be in Steam\SteamApps\Common\). Look for an icon named il2setup. Click on it and a program will open that shows screen resolutions and other options.

This works for the DVD version. I don't have the Steam version. My folder also has an icon named il2set and it seems to do the same thing as il2setup.

Check your Windows DPI scaling.
It should be set to 100%

Also dont edit the Resolution ingame but via using the conf.ini file in your main directory of the game.
Set the corresponding lines "height=" and "width=" to your native resolution.

Yeah, that helped for me when I was thinking "Why is it so small?" (that's what she said.)
