both of these need to be installed in version 4.12.2 for il-2 1946. you can switch to this version by right clicking il-2 going to properties and then betas. if you don't have it on steam you can find the megapatch to update to this version here https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=38443.0
Ah great thank you.
Do i have to download this "SAS IL-2 4.12.2m Mega Patch (2.16 GB)" too?
Ive choosen for myself VP´s Modpack.
VP focuses on WW2 and updates pretty much every aspect of the stock game and adds some objects and other misc items. VP is fantastic for playing campaigns and missions designed for default game.
BAT focuses on sheer content and has a lot of specialty campaigns based on modded A/C, so vietnam ♥♥♥♥ and korea and stuff.
HSFX is the easiest to install and was originally streamlined for Online play, however it adds content both from the prewar period and korea. I would argue that HSFX is the most stable and there is a ton of HSFX specific content out there (mission4today).
Personally, I think HSFX gives especially newer players the best rounded experience due to its easy as hell installation.
