Mouse and keyboard unresponsive

So I just bought this game, and the mouse and keyboard are completly unresponsive. To start the game I have to click a tab on my taskbar, and end up sitting through the intro movie because esc on the keyboard dosen't work. On the menu screen I see the mouse cursor but it does not move, anyone know a solution to this?

Running: Windows 10
Graphics: GTX1070
Ram:8GB

Aparently that will play the sound of the game but it becomes unesponsive and doesn't fully open the game... :< I'm starting to think this doesn't like windows 10
