"Hot Seat Mode" (normally) means playing the game on the same monitor/PC, but in alternating sessions, right ?
Well, since this game is not turn-based and also doesn't offer any kind of multiplayer-mode officially, this is not possible (normally). - BUT: You could easily do something simillar to this with a little trick: Just invite someone to play with you on the same PC, but chose different races (in your mind) and set all gamestart-settings for AI-races equal to the (first) player-race - then set the wanted time-period to play for each player (externally - like with an alarm-clock) and start a game with the race the first player shall controll... and after playing the set time-period just switch to the next race with the editor and let the next player play his time-period with the race you had switched to... etc. etc.
(Only thing you have to keep in mind is that each of the player-races will turn to an AI-race during the time-period of the other players...
