Usually you would be looking though lists like planets and resources planning out your next moves but the game basically runs itself to the point where there is barely any player interaction.
No planet overview.
No detailed list for other empires around you.
Mining station resource "no overview on them when you click on them" doesn't even open the menu to the resources so you can see what you are looking at or even right clicking on them you would expect a "galaticopeda" or something with more information with current "bonus" being applied etc in empire or at least show what components or stuff uses the resource like in DWU.
Exploration is basically automated. You can't interact with anything or really know what "level" you need just that yeah we explored this to a basic level and it could be explored more.
You don't really know what is being traded at least it should show what resources are being moved and where.
So your basically just waiting for things to happen while you don't have the tech to explore relics etc and you actually are unable to do anything like honestly it so boring at the start of the game.
The resource list is so wacky as well like shows you "priority" and at least we got a "construction" filter but some functions are on the other page like just showing luxury items but can't see just buildable luxury mining locations or even filter by "demand" or "price" you actuality have to click the resource then go explore on the universe map and hover over each planet to see "bonus" or resource quality. You can't really see "all locations" including other empire resources etc.
Alot of the game is like this. For example they expect you to use fleet designs and you can't even assign ships when you build them from the ship menu individually you have to go back to another menu to assign them to a fleet.
Like we can't even favourite planets or locations we deem interesting to us. I find myself forgetting about a lot of stuff.
Like we can't even tell how many types of what planets are in our empire if we can't colonise them and we can't even see a overview or what resources we are trading with other empires or what resources they are lacking or we are really lacking. Everything is very abstract and honestly you have to learn in great detail alot of things that should really just be there.
it like the menu's are complex but the game itself isn't so it just ends up being a frustrating experience if you manually want to do something you have to go though a "horde" of menu's.
