why is there two games this game (which runs smoother...) and Predecessor ?-?

These are 2 different games, that are made by 2 different companies. Both games are using assets from a dead game called Paragon, that shut down in 2017 I believe. Both games also play differently. Just try out either one. Everyone has a personal favorite.

Game assets were not stolen. Epic Games released them for free. Several developers tried to recreate the game. Some have even created completely different new games using the same assets.

Free assets have even been used in non-MOBA games.

BPM is a rhythm solo shooter using some such as Serath for a character and Sevarog as a level boss.

Then there is this, a arena game with no items, just Heroes and abilities. They changed stuff too, Murdoch's Basics shoot different you can see in the video.

well consdiering this game is now stopping to work in april im gonna look for similiare games ig might hop over to predecessors. due to 2 of my fav chars are on there atleast. (even though i like this game more....)

Predecessor may last for a bit but at some unknown point I expect it to slowly go away.
