OP got more players just cuz f2p, people were pissed about miserable 10 euros, already less than half players in a day tho, and surely they will keep quitting it
35k players to 16k in half a day, dont trust people just counting on playerbase on a f2p game
Predecessor lacks of content, and thats all people can say, they want a nonsense ranking mode with no mm at all, they just added it to grab people on OP
Ill give OP couple days and you will se about max 5 to 10k players max, they will all slowly switch to Pred 100%
Also, Pred visually way better, smoother
Travel mode is trash and thats one feature that lasted about nothing in old Paragon, trash mechanic and makes no sense
OP is not a moba, but just a different version of apex, map feels so small, minions in OP are useless other than giving gold and exp, in Pred they actually do real stuff
I like OPs UI better, but hey, who cares at the end of the day, just gotta get used to it afterall
Pred has no skins (yet) but with 10 euros you unlock 20 heroes plus 5 next incoming heroes, in OP it will take months to unlock all
So choose Pred if you want an overall way better game, choose OP if you want all the content but not a moba but a brawler game

Dont play either if you want an actual full-game experience. I recommend Predecessor because its far closer to what paragon was at its best in terms of design, and its focusing more on developing the actual core of the game rather than just littering it with features to make it seem complete.
Overprime changes a lot of what was paragon, and a lot of it is not for the better. Lots of gimmicks added that take more away from the game than they add, like the weird choice to add portals and the reintroduction of the sprint mechanic. Its an alpha game with a thick layer of makeup. And the company behind it, along with their incredibly sus data collection agreement is another red flag.
If that doesn't bother you, play both and make up your own mind.
Also don't let the people trying to throw around the player count confuse you. Overprime is being developed by a korean company who is already waist deep in trying to monetize it. Predecessor is a game that no one outside of paragon fans really know about thats paywalled for the sake of getting as many players who actually want to TEST the game as possible. Some people will say anything to try and paint their game in a better light than it actually is.
OP has 20k less players in half a day, and its f2p, you sure think it will last? good for you, but it wont, you clearly hate Pred for absolute no reason other than hue hue 10 bucks hue hue
Oh and btw, do you know League of Legends? Dota 2? ever heard about those? yeah, they were on paid EA aswell, im sure you dont know :-)
Ill stick playing with 2k players on a better game thanks
The thing is, OP will be dead 100%, Pred has still a very small chance to comeback, but there is atleast
If a f2p already lost more than half of their playerbase in half a day, cant imagine going that far
You can unlock everything just by playing the game. Even your beloved Zena that you ♥♥♥♥♥ about in another thread. Stop spewing nonsense. 'Lack of free content' but there is plenty. More than half the hero roster is playable already. Again, you unlock the rest just by playing. LoL did the same thing, when you first start, you can only pick out of a certain # of heroes they rotate each week. And eventually unlock more just from playing the game.
As for the tax ID, they can't get that info in any way shape or form. Some guy brought it up during the final test here as well and he looked like an idiot when he couldn't explain how they'd get that info when its not present anywhere on steam.
Now ♥♥♥♥ off and go play your Pred game that averages 1-3k people.
Then ♥♥♥♥ off and go play your garbage game that is missing tons of content. No one's asking you to be here lol. And ps, you ever heard of people working during the daytime? Or different regions like EU/ASIA and when a lot of them play? No ofc not. We had 25k on just 2 hours ago, its going to go up and down depending on where you're playing from.
It's launch day ofc numbers are gonna be high on a F2P title
Also pred getting 7k was actually good, because that was the peak in the last open test, so they managed to pull a 7k peak twice even when paid 😂
How can you lie and call Pred more polished when its lacking so much? Yall have no progression, no match history, no AI mode, no competitive, your UI is awful, your item shop is HORRENDOUS, missing OCE server regions, etc? The only positive it has over OP really, is that it runs on UE5 and not 4. And yes, being free matters to people quite clearly as indicated by the popularity between the two.
Edit: I understand timezones quite well, and you proved my point without even realizing it. Its 2:35am in China, 3:35am in Japan & 3:35am in Korea right now. I suggest you take your own advice and learn your timezones instead.
