I did play Paragon. It wasn't great. It could've been a lot better than it was if Epic had taken their time and resources to do it properly but they didn't. They just tried to hop onto the last cart of the MOBA bandwagon when everyone and their mom was doing it and they missed the hype train entirely. What I really want back is MxM, which was actually a great game with novel features, but it died bc they couldn't attract enough players in the saturated market of the time.
Fault is probably the one iteration that went further than any other as of now. Yeah it was pretty bad the last time I checked but at least it looked more like a game than the others. You're just flat out wrong, though. There were others. I'm not sure if it's the complete list but on Lanepushinggames[lanepushinggames.com] you can see at least some of the games that came from Paragon. I could swear I've seen more than that but I might be wrong.
the only people who think paragon was good are nostalfags who can't accept the fact that paragon was a complete failure because the gameplay was never properly designed.
Epic RELUCTANTLY shut down Paragon. So much, that they released millions of dollars worth of assets in hopes of someone else to carry the mantle.
Even the original creator, Steve Superville is back on board to help advise Predecessor .
I played Overprime tho and I gotta say, it's fun af
polishness is what it lacks but I agree, they did a good job and game is pretty fun.
I ain't about to try to reason with a 12 year old but there was and is nothing like Paragon and the game was good even in it's worst state and there are a lot of people who agree with me about the fun in Paragon, more so than your insubstantial opinion. Even if they did some changes, it was in beta and that's the point. Even if they weren't listening to the community, if they stuck with it and if it wasn't for Fortnite and other things, I think they would have reached a point in which they would have to listen to the community to improve the game and it would have been great, with today's twitch meta. Now I'm still hoping Predecessor is doing all the right things to make their game a success. Mostly people who didn't understand the game and were bad at it would disagree.
How could anyone dislike the game I like? Must be because they're n00bz! There is no other explanation!
It's not disliking it, it's saying it's bad. The game is still good even if you dislike it or you're bad at it.
yes i see and know all those paragon "clones" from ur link.. most of them are not even playable or we got no new infos since months or years.. which is my point. so idk what u want
overprime was playable and its good.. and it will release soon
I didn't even enjoy the CBT that they did last month but at least have a clue what this game is first
You are talking about Paragon mechanics not OP mechanics
Calling Fault „a joke“ is utter nonsense. You probably haven’t looked at it in several months. It plays really smooth, is very balanced and the EU community is big enough to not wait longer than 5 minutes in the evenings.
It‘s probably far from being perfect, but definitely a lot of fun.
The only real bad thing about it right now is it’s low variety of champs. I can live with that for now, hoping they will release more frequently (as they stated earlier this year) and also looking forward to OP and especially predecessor.
Still I felt the need to interfere with such a drastic and simply untrue statement.
https://steamcharts.com/app/1106750 speaks for itself, Fault jumped the gun and paid the price
With OP now being delayed Pred might actually be the first polished release
How is it nonsense? Fault has 100 concurrent players most of the time.. at prime time it goes up to 200
i mean believe what u want but its very very unlikely that the player numbers magically go up again
im not someone who calls games dead fast.. but for a competetive game this is just dead. balanced matchmaking and decent games are almost impossible with such numbers.. who wants to jump on a train like that?
