The settlers on windows 10

I have the cd, but it won't start. any suggestions to fix this problem?

Go to gamecopyworld, there u will find it. but so I got the game from uplay again since I gave my cd to someone else long ago. but it doesn't work yet on win10 for me. I hope it works for you with the 1.06 patch from gamecopyworld tho

Thx but the 1.06 patch sends me to ubisoft and it only sends me to the homepage and cant find it either. But thx.

my experience has found that don't update to patch 106 tr 105 as 106 breaks the game.

So I have tried downloading and replacing the SettlersHoK.exe with both the 1.05 and 1.06 version from gamecopyworld and in both cases it doesn't work. Any other tips on how to possibly fix it?
