Oculus Left Stick
The left stick needs some tweaking. The stick deadzones needs to be expanded to about 5 or you will drift in circles. The diagonals needs some love, a simple test is circle-strafing. With diagonals so narrow you can move forward, or sideways only unless you hit a very small sweet spot - very frustrating.

Further Suggestions:
1) I would move the run from X to the left stick button, and make it a toggle. When the player stop moving, go back to walking.
2) The floor is an inch lower than my feet, I was unable to reach the papers on it. Resetting my floor height did not fix this.
3) I could not find any way to get to a menu. Perhaps I'm just missing something.
4) Flashlight not working at the house. Once the chainsaw shows up, your flashlight dies. I thought this was a bug until you come across another later in the game. I would have an onscreen indicator or comment about the batteries dying or something similar so the player isn't thinking the game is just broke.
5) Option for head or hand directional movement. As it sits you move towards where you are looking only - I would like the ability to keep walking in the joystick direction while I look elsewhere - more immersive.

Otherwise, enjoying the game. VR completely makes it punch above it's weight. :thumb:

Good afternoon, as for your wishes.

1) So that movement and running do not conflict, they are placed on one joystick. I can move the run from the X button to the Y button.
2) I'll see what's wrong with the floor, and what the problem might be. Since I have no problems on the Valve Index.
3) To see the current tasks you need to press the button A. If you want a menu with options, then it is only in the main menu.
4) The flashlight does not go out - and a light bulb explodes in it. Therefore, the level has alternative lighting in the form of candles. On the next level, you can find a new working flashlight.
5) I also pondered how it would be better. If people start asking to remove this feature, I will disable it in the update.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'd rather press the left thumb stick down to toggle run. The left thumbstick on an oculus touch works like an xbox controller, so pressing it in is also a button. This is how many games do their running. When you stop moving, the run is toggled off. My main issue is with the actual moving around - it's very clunky and hard to use right now.

Yes, but I can't get to the main menu using the controller. How do I do it?

I heard nothing, had no idea why the flashlight wasn't working, likely due to the sound of the chainsaw - I'm suggesting adding an onscreen indication (say a text prompt) that it had happen so players weren't confused.

I'm not asking to disable it, merely adding an option in the menu for head or hand tracking.

Thanks for listening.
