Image too dark, more than necessary. (Imagem escura de mais sem necessidade).
Don't get me wrong, I love horror games, I'm a fan of RE, Dead Space, and several survival Horrors, but this game has parts that are too dark, even with the use of a flashlight. They could increase the light from the flashlight or the environment. And it's no use increasing the brightness, it just blows out the lights on the backpack on the protagonist's back and doesn't improve the vision. The game doesn't have a map and visibility is poor.
I liked the game, but they could fix this problem with the game's extreme darkness. Map I know they won't add.

use the Wemod program, it has a mod that allows you to increase the intensity of the flashlight as you like.

To the devs, I'd like to second this, I think the Shadows setting influences the flashlight as well. I had to turn it down to medium for it to work as intended, with gamma all the way up to 8.

Does your display menu (not the driver menu) offer a feature which is called HDMI Black Level and if, did you choose Low intead of Normal ? On Low the display colors are more intense and make games look darker. But you're right when write the shadows must be lowered in these game to make the brightness more comfortable. I set the shadows to minimum and now the flashlight cone is better.

I increased the brightness to 8, it only made the lights pop, but everything remained too dark around.

It may be a temporary solution, but ideally, Devs should adjust the game for more comfortable visibility. I understand that they wanted to give a horror tone, little visibility, but in a game, this irritates more than it brings immersion. Just watch the Dead Space Remake, it's very dark, but we can see things with the flashlight. In this game, I don't even see the protagonist.

Lighting on this game was poorly implemented. You can see in a room with two long fluorescent lights and it barely lit the room.
