Beat the game on Hard Difficulty... unlocked Hard Mode?

I took my time playing this game on Hard Difficulty. Perhaps took too much time in some areas but I enjoyed it none the less. As I was playing the game on and off for a few months, the grind wasn't that bad. Had fun. Had some hard fought battles. Had big losses.
Still got some Digimon left to recruit. Builder upgrades to finish. More Digimon to add to the Field Guide.


Got some questions about Post game.

After the credits roll, it said I'd unlocked Hard Mode? I thought I was already playing on the highest difficulty? What does this mean?

"Hard" mode just means you get fewer stats from grinding.

No, the unlockable hard mode has enemies with higher stats. Pretty sure it's a translation error.
