If you get the tamer perks for rebirth that make the digimon inherit stats from the previous generation, yes. Digimon dying and getting rebirthed is part of the cycle and is 90 percent good. The 10 percent bad is if you were trying to do something that required an older digimon and now they are a baby.
There's plenty of videos teaching about the training locations, when you digi dies he will inherit around 10% of your current attribute, each perk from the egg tree raises to 1% to the max of 14%, people tested and if you have 9999 of one stat you will be reborn with 1.2k approximately (I don't know the value by head).
It's also important to understand that this game was made for the crappy PSVita and most of the gameplay mechanics are plain and simple time sinks.
With all that said, it's pretty chill to manipulate your age with fish and food, most people do a perfect run with 3 generations, I was able to reach chapter 5 with my 2º one and I'm giving a stop for the time because this grind made me lose my will to play, but they still are alive and kicking.
I played with my second gen at a very chilled pace, you don't have to worry.
In Dimensional Dungeon if you meet Crusadermon or Imperialdramon as NPC, they increase your Digimon lifespan also. There are Digimon stat can increase your stats.
Although you would need to recruit them, for them to appear.
I beat chapter 2 with my 1st generation Digimon.
I beat chapter 4 with my 2nd generation Digimon.
I beat every chapters and recruited all 200 Digimon with my 3rd generation Digimon. I managed to get 9,999 stats and 60k hp and mp.
where would i be able to access that? also is it multiplayer, or still single player (hoping for SP ngl)?
and yes it's a good thing. If you actually like trying to get different evolutions and dont want to use the gym or lady devimon's chips to kill your digimon...you will only have a handful of generations before the game ends
When fed to a digimon, a Rotting Melon adds 24 hours to a digimon's lifespan. Using the tent, you can use recipes that cost 1 Rotting Melon but can feed it to both your digimon, increasing both their lifespans by 24 hours with 1 Rotting Melon. Couple this with other life-extending foods like Seraphimon's foods, and you not only stave off death, but accumulate net hours of lifespan extension every in-game day.
You can either accumulate enough points to buy a bunch of melons from previous generations to pad out the lifespan of the mon you want to keep or just spend some time every in-game day grinding the arena for points to make your digimon immortal.
I'd only really do this for mon you *REALLY* want to keep. Otherwise, rebirthing to build up stats and trying for different evolutions is just as good if not better.
huh interesting
