exe from non material digimon

so i got my first exe after a defeat and it gave me a mega that doesnt have any of my partners listed as material digimon according to wiki's , before hand i had no option for exe after that it became permenant.
well so i guess die get exe evo from non compatiple/material digimon?
i had a chaos gallantmon and a skuyamon it gave me permenant omegamon zwart which only has black war greymon and metal grurumon as compatiple material digimon.

anyone had this happen to them?

To manually ExE in battle, you need:
1. Atleast one Mega partner + one Ultimate or Mega
2. Both need 100 bond to you, DigiFriend (the value between your partners) doesn't matter for this

You probably were just short of 100 bond and the next time you tried to ExE, you had the required 100.
There's no need to unlock anything and you can fuse any partners in battle. If they're normally not compatible, It'll give you a random ExE Mega.

However, in the Dojo you need the correct pairings you found on the wikis you mentioned.

Ultra's cannot use ExE, Omegamon for instance ( only Mega/ultimate stage)
ExE is limited to once a day.
